The Bosch 8718600019 is a water pressure sensor for condensing gas boilers, where it sits in the hydraulic circuit and continuously reports system pressure to the appliance control board so the boiler only fires when the heating circuit is properly filled, and locks out or flags a fault when pressure falls away through a leak or a slow loss over time. It reads relative pressure across a 0 to 4 bar span and converts it into a linear 0.5 to 3.5 V analogue output, drawing a nominal 24 V supply with a working tolerance of 8.5 to 30 V DC, and withstands short pressure excursions up to 8 bar. Instead of a threaded body, the sensor terminates in a short plug-in spigot with a rubber sealing ring already fitted and a cross slot for a retaining clip, so it pushes directly into the boiler manifold and locks in place without thread sealant or torque, which makes a swap quick on a serviced appliance and removes the risk of cracking a plastic housing on installation. Power and signal run through a moulded connector with three flat blade terminals, matching the original wiring harness on the boilers it is fitted to.
