The Bosch 8733908294 Valve Expansion Kit serves as the refrigerant metering device in compatible HVAC systems, regulating how much liquid refrigerant enters the evaporator coil so the unit holds proper superheat and steady cooling output as load conditions shift. Rated for R-410A, the brass valve body uses copper sweat inlet and outlet connections along with a separate external equalizer line that lets the valve respond to actual evaporator outlet pressure rather than inlet pressure, keeping the metering accurate through pressure drops across the coil. The remote sensing bulb connects through several feet of coiled capillary tubing, which provides enough reach to clamp the bulb at the correct spot on the suction line no matter how the coil and line set are routed, and the included mounting bracket, clamp nuts, and screws allow the bulb and valve to be secured properly during installation.
