Additional Features:
The Bosch 8733953167 compressor insulation is the factory sound blanket for the compressor in heat pumps, where it wraps the compressor shell to absorb operating noise and keep vibration from carrying into the outdoor cabinet and surrounding structure. It is built as a layered panel, combining a dense bonded fiber body with a reflective foil face that shields the hottest section of the compressor and a sealed rubberized outer skin that keeps moisture and debris out of the fiber. Hook-and-loop strips run the full length of the closing seam and across one end, so the blanket pulls tight around the compressor and secures itself by hand without clamps, wire ties, or adhesive, while the contoured die-cut edges and grommeted openings keep the wrap clear of the suction and discharge lines and terminal box for service access.
