Product Description

The Panasonic INTERIOS CU-HM55BAHU is a 4.5-ton-class outdoor extreme heat pump designed for central ducted heating and cooling applications. It is compatible with Panasonic INTERIOS A-coil systems for hybrid dual-fuel heating and cooling, allowing the heat pump to integrate with a new or existing furnace for whole-home comfort.

The CU-HM55BAHU uses R454B refrigerant and provides cold-climate heating operation down to -22°F (-30°C). When paired with the CS-HM60BAAU4 A-coil, the system provides up to 53,000 BTU/h rated cooling capacity and 58,000 BTU/h rated heating capacity. Panasonic specifies continuously variable compressor operation, electronic refrigerant control, and a built-in base pan for cold-climate operation.
