Product Description

The Panasonic ClimaPure XZ Series CU-XZ15AKUAC is the outdoor unit designed for the XZ15AKUA single-split ductless heat pump system. It pairs with the indoor unit to provide efficient heating and cooling with inverter-driven operation and variable-capacity performance.

The matched system provides a rated cooling capacity of 14,700 BTU/h and a rated heating capacity of 17,200 BTU/h. The system can modulate capacity from 3,300 to 19,300 BTU/h in cooling mode and from 3,300 to 25,200 BTU/h in heating mode. It is designed for cold-climate heating operation down to -15°F (-26°C) and uses R32 refrigerant.

The CU-XZ15AKUAC uses an inverter-driven hermetic rotary compressor with a brushless 6-pole motor. When matched with the compatible CS-XZ15AKUAW indoor unit, the system provides high-efficiency operation with SEER2 of 22.40, EER2 of 13.35, and HSPF2 of 12.00. Panasonic also lists the system as ENERGY STAR® Cold Climate Certified.
