Exam glove (non-sterile) Nitrile AQL 0.65 Chemo + fentanyl tested (ASTM D6978-05) Textured fingertips Silicone-free Latex-free 9.5" / 25 cm length 900–1000 gloves / case RightCycle™ eligible

Product overview
Kimtech™ Polaris™ Nitrile Exam Gloves are designed for high-discipline lab and production workflows that demand dependable barrier performance, strong grip and a consistently low defect rate. Polaris combines a high-grade nitrile formulation with textured fingertips and a beaded cuff, plus documented testing for chemotherapy drugs and fentanyl in support of non-sterile compounding and hazardous drug handling programs.
Practical clarity: These are exam gloves (non-sterile) and are not processed as ISO-class cleanroom gloves. If your SOP requires cleanroom-processed gloves for ISO 4/5 areas, select a cleanroom glove family aligned to your environment and validation requirements.

Why customers choose Kimtech™ Polaris™
  • AQL 0.65 quality discipline supports fewer pinholes and fewer “surprise failures” in daily use (exceeds the common ASTM AQL 2.5 threshold for critical defects/pinholes).
  • Chemical-resistance confidence for real workflows: tested for use with fentanyl and chemotherapy drugs per ASTM D6978-05 and positioned for non-sterile compounding programs (validate against your facility SOP and task-specific exposure profile).
  • Textured fingertips improve dry and wet grip for vials, caps, wipes, tools and devices — reducing re-grips, drops and touch contamination.
  • Silicone-free formulation (per published testing) helps reduce silicone transfer concerns in quality-sensitive work (coatings, optics, electronics handling, inspection benches).
  • Comfort + productivity: US Ergonomics certification and published tensile targets support a glove that feels capable without “overbuilding” bulk.
  • RightCycle™ eligible when used in non-hazardous applications, supporting waste-diversion goals alongside strong PPE performance.

Recommended applications
  • Non-sterile compounding support and hazardous drug handling steps where a documented glove program is required
  • Lab work, biotech workflows and med-device manufacturing support tasks
  • Handling chemicals and solutions with splash potential (verify chemical compatibility and exposure time)
  • Sample handling, inspection, QA/QC bench work and controlled handling processes
  • Food-contact handling steps where 21 CFR 177.2600 applicability is part of your internal requirements
Reminder: “Tested for use with” is not the same as “safe for every exposure.” Always evaluate the task, contact time, splash risk, and your facility SDS requirements.
