Texwipe STX705P is an individually wrapped sterile cotton cleanroom swab built for sampling and controlled cleaning steps where teams need sterility at point-of-use, documentation discipline, and consistent geometry. The swab head is constructed from 100% USP-grade cotton and is bonded to a long polystyrene shaft using an aqueous-based adhesive. STX705P is gamma irradiated to a 10-6 Sterility Assurance Level (SAL) in accordance with ANSI/AAMI/ISO 11137, and each swab is presented in easy-open, clear packaging so operators can visually confirm seal integrity before introduction into controlled workflows. In practical use, cotton provides strong absorbency and “grab” for particulate pickup and localized solvent cleaning (no swab is truly “lint-free” in every process condition; use technique control and early change-outs to keep fiber risk bounded to your validated method).
