Texwipe STX764 is a sterile, individually wrapped, small-head spun polyester cleanroom swab designed for documented sampling and controlled cleaning in critical environments. It is constructed from 100% medical-grade spun polyester bonded to a long polystyrene shaft with an aqueous-based adhesive, then gamma irradiated to a 10-6 Sterility Assurance Level (SAL) to support sterile technique, lot traceability, and expiration-date control. STX764 is frequently selected for environmental monitoring, diagnostic-style sampling, and solvent-assisted wipe steps (commonly IPA), where a narrow tip and long reach improve access into ports, joints, crevices, and equipment features while maintaining operator control. As with any fiber-based swab, performance is process-dependent (substrate texture, pressure, wetness, and stroke count), and no swab is truly ‘zero-lint’ in every condition—the goal is low-linting behavior appropriate to your risk model.
