The Bosch 7738005006 is a combustion air blower that supplies the pressurized air charge for HVAC heating equipment, pulling in ambient air and delivering it to the burner at a controlled rate so the appliance fires cleanly through its full modulation range. It operates on 115V/120V AC at 60 Hz, draws 250 W at 2.5 A, and pairs an integrated variable speed drive with Class H insulation for stable output under sustained high temperature duty, reaching 45.6 percent static efficiency at an efficiency grade of 61. Air enters through a contoured bell mouth throat seated in a die-cast aluminum volute and discharges through a rectangular bolt flange on the side of the housing, with integrally cast mounting lugs and machined threaded pressure tap ports that let the assembly seat flush against the burner plate, hold gasket compression, and stay aligned under continuous vibration. That cast housing geometry is what makes it a direct fit replacement, so verifying flange pattern and port placement against the outgoing unit is the key step before installation.
