Leather palms feature leather primarily on the palm of the glove and other materials, such as canvas, on the back. Cordova Safety Products grades leather according to the area on the hide from which it is cut. The premium-grade leather comes from side or shoulder and from areas higher on the animal that receive the least amount of movement. Cowhide is comfortable, durable and abrasion resistant. This premium grain cowhide leather palm features a striped canvas back and gunn pattern cut, the most commonly used pattern in work gloves. It also provides a rubberized safety cuff for added protection at the wrist.
