Federal Signal's explosion-proof phone model FT400BX has been developed for operation in the petro-chemical industry, on off-shore plants, in mills, and harbors. It is resistant to large temperature differences, air humidity, sea water, dust, and strong mechanical wear and tear. This industrial telephone is certified for use in hazardous dust and gas atmospheres. The explosion-proof housing is made of impact-resistant and shockproof glass fiber reinforced polyester (GRP) and is resistant to acids, seawater, alkalis, moisture, and grease.
The FT400BX industrial telephone is completely programmable and has been equipped with a 21-piece stainless (V4A) steel keypad designed for use with gloves. Letters and figures are presented clearly on the alphanumeric display. The FT400BX explosion-proof telephone also boasts all the convenient features that have become standard in the field of office communication.
