Foredom - K.8504 K.8504 – LX Hang-Up Motor, Dial Speed Control and H.30 Handpiece. Flex Shaft Tool Sets include popular combinations of motors, speed controls, and handpieces – the three key components of a complete flexible shaft machine. Unlike our Pre-Packed Kits, they do NOT come with any accessory assortments, but do include a tube of grease.

Motor and Speed Control carry a 2 Year Limited Warranty.

These permanent magnet motors are specifically designed for high torque/low speed applications, offering more power for jobs like stone setting, wax modeling, and pearl drilling. M.LX, M.LXM, and M.LXB ball bearing motors feature full power and torque from start up and throughout the entire speed range up to 5,000 rpm. They are ideal for use with Foredom’s drill presses. They also are well matched with the H.15 and H.15D Hammer Handpieces.It comes equipped with a motor bale for hanging, and our standard 39″ long key tip shafting for connecting to any of Foredoms quick disconnect handpieces.

2. H.30® Handpiece:

Foredom’s most popular general purpose handpiece features a 3-jaw, geared chuck with a 0-5/32″ capacity. Accessory changes are easy with this handpiece using the supplied HPCK-0 Chuck Key.

4. Speed Control: K.8504 with C.EMX Dial Speed Control:
C.EMX-1 looks the same as our standard table top controls but it has special electronics that converts AC current from an electrical outlet to DC current, the type required by Series LX motors. This control also has a different style plug that is made to fit the motor’s shielded-type plug. The C.EMX-1 is a solid state control in a plastic housing that can be positioned anywhere on a work surface. The hand dial is used to adjust and set speed. This manual style control allows you to maintain and return to a desired speed, time and again by marking the setting on the dial.
