This drain comes with a round screw-in nickel bronze cast strainer. Its beveled edge allows for recessed installation, and it has an innovative and compact design. It comes complete with dual weep holes and a recessed sump area for added drainage. Its reversible clamping ring allows for an additional half inch of height adjustment. Use the D50998 tailpiece extension when additional height is needed. Before testing, the spud should be threaded down to its lowest point, making contact with the plug. The plug should make complete contact with the drain opening. Remove the test plug with pliers and discard after testing.
