Product Description

The Panasonic ClimaPure XZ Series CU-XZ18AKUAC is the outdoor unit designed for the XZ18AKUA single-split ductless heat pump system. It pairs with the indoor unit to provide efficient heating and cooling with inverter-driven variable-capacity operation.

The matched system delivers a rated cooling capacity of 17,200 BTU/h and a rated heating capacity of 20,400 BTU/h. Cooling capacity ranges from 6,100 to 22,200 BTU/h, while heating capacity ranges from 6,800 to 30,400 BTU/h. The system is designed for cold-climate heating operation down to -15°F (-26°C) and uses R32 refrigerant.

The CU-XZ18AKUAC uses an inverter-driven hermetic rotary compressor with a brushless 6-pole motor. When matched with the compatible indoor unit, the system achieves SEER2 of 22.00, EER2 of 13.65 and HSPF2 of 11.70. Panasonic also lists the XZ18AKUA system as ENERGY STAR® Cold Climate Certified.
