Product Description

The Panasonic ClimaPure XZ Series CU-XZ9AKUAC is the outdoor unit designed for the XZ9AKUA single-zone ductless mini-split heating and cooling system. It pairs with the indoor unit to provide efficient zoned comfort with inverter-driven operation and cold-climate heating capability.

The system provides a rated cooling capacity of 8,700 BTU/h and a rated heating capacity of 10,900 BTU/h, with capacity modulation to match changing comfort requirements. The system is designed for cold-climate operation down to -15°F (-26°C) and uses R32 refrigerant. It is also ENERGY STAR® Cold Climate Certified when properly matched and installed.

The CU-XZ9AKUAC features an inverter-driven hermetic rotary compressor with a brushless 6-pole motor. Its outdoor unit design supports efficient operation while maintaining relatively low outdoor sound levels for residential and light commercial applications.
